The Barnard family in 1930 established their distillery on Santa Lucia Island making a rum from the molasses produced by the island’s massive sugar plantations. Chairmamn’s is committed to using only Guyanese molasses. With multiple vats of molasses with various strains of yeast, and the diversity of a pot still, distiller and master blender, you have excellent opportunities to craft a wide spectrum of delightful flavors. Thus obtaining the highest quality and distinction. This has made Chairman’s an absolutely “essential” rum.
