The Alsace wine region has a unique combination of great soil types that form a true «kaleidoscope» of geologies. Pink sandstone, blue shale, limestone, granite, gypsum, and volcanic rocks are among the most interesting soils.

RESPECT FOR THE TERROIR
In 2011, the winery dedicated exclusively to Alsace Grands Crus wines was launched. From Andlau to Thann, thus finding numerous interesting vineyards that have a strong individual character.
At the foot of the Vosges Mountains, just below the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg, they established the winery in the village of Saint-Hippolyte.
All hand-picked, the grapes are carefully selected and gently passed through the pneumatic press.
